Australian-listed bulk materials software development company, QMastor, has opened its first office in the United States as it expands its global footprint to support and service key mining regions in North America.

Mining technology services company, Runge, has secured the patent rights to the methodology of the overall framework - ‘method and system of integrated mine planning’ - for its enterprise solution, Mining Dynamics, which it says has been proven to improve predictability of mining operations that have a high degree of dynamic variability.  

Like anyone who has been in IT for a reasonable length of time I've worked with technologies that have lapsed, been superseded, died off or just simply gone out of vogue. Yet there are some my heart yearns to see again.

GeoScience Victoria (GSV) claims an Australian first with implementation of a system from mining software and services company, Runge, that GSV says allows it to seamlessly build, manage and distribute high-quality 3D models.

QMASTOR, a provider of specialist management information systems and services, has secured a major contract with an Australian iron ore producer for the provision of Horizon Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) software.  

A record half yearly profit increase of $1.07 million has been reported by Australian listed QMASTOR Limited (ASX:QML), a company providing bulk material software solutions to the global mining, port, power generation and bulk commodity industries.
