Indigenous Australians are being given a look into the world of IT and opportunities for employment in the industry with the launch today of an initiative by telecommunications specialist, Comscentre, in partnership with the Aboriginal Employment Strategy (AES).

The Government's plan to provide $7m funding over four years to provide public Internet facilities in remote indigenous communities has been derided by a senior executive with 10 years experience in indigenous communications.
