CSIRO announced on Thursday, November 12, 2009, that its new Renewable Energy Integration Facility has opened. The scientific research agency of Australia stated that the facility is "A step towards zero emission communities."

Fujitsu powers up with WA energy company contract
Fujitsu has been contracted by Western Australia’s largest electricity generation company, Verve Energy, to design its new energy trading management system, which Verve claims will deliver “significant benefits” to the company and to the state.
