Already out on just about every gaming platform known to man, F1 2011 makes it's way to the 3DS handheld for some retina searing 3D racing action in your hands.
 

Review: Need For Speed: The Run

This is quite a let-down for the Need For Speed brand, a long running video-game grandfather of a franchise, that over the years has certainly toyed with the emotions of fans.  In recent times however, the Need For Speed branded SHIFT games as well as Hot Pursuit have injected enough white-knuckle adrenalin into the arcade style racing to garner a whole new crop of video-racing devotees.
 

Bowser likes 3DS internet browser update

Nintendo has announced the first major system update for the 3DS hand-held system.  The release will include an internet browser, online store and 3d Pokémons with something called Pokedex 3D.  Oh! And a free 3D game if you are quick.
 

And the fastest selling Nintendo game of all time is…..

Wii Sports? New Super Mario Bros. Wii?  Apparently not, it looks as though those pocket monsters Pokémon now with two new iterations Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version are the new sales kings.

Nintendo 3DS makes the crowd go wild

A couple of days before its release, Nintendo has dropped a 3DS into the iTWire office.  Despite grumblings about price, and the revelation of the 3DS having already been hacked, one thing is for certain, the wow factor of glasses free 3D is fresh and exciting for budding and veteran DS fans.

Review: de Blob 2 – A splash of coloured fun

Do not overlook this game again. There, I have said it, the original de Blob on the Nintendo Wii was an overlooked gem of fun colour and carefree (almost hippie-like) game-play.  But de Blob has grown up and the sequel brings the ball of paint into the HD/3D world with versions for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
 

Nintendo 3DS sells out and hacked on Japan launch

Nintendo’s new hand-held gaming system, the 3DS sports a bigger screen that features 3D images without the need of special glasses.  The system launched in Japan yesterday and has already sold out and been hacked so that it will play pirated games.

3DS Games to start from $70

The Nintendo 3DS is building plenty of hype prior to launch and much of the talk – along with the amazing glasses-free 3D technology - has been about price.  Whether it is the price of the hardware or how it compares overseas or not it is certainly one of the pivotal points of interest with Nintendo’s next hardware release.  Today Nintendo released more information about the games arriving for the shiny new hand-held.

Nintendo drops 37% still has strong 2010

Nintendo has released its sales figures for the 2010 Australian market, despite dropping in sales by 37 per cent; both the DS and Wii claimed the top selling console in their respective markets.
 

How can it be? Gaming industry dives PS3, Xbox break records

The video-game industry in Australia remains healthy, but slumped 16 per cent during 2010, yet both Sony and Microsoft were pleased.  There are some simple answers for this, one of which is analysis spin, but surely somebody had a bad year.
