ISOC aims to boost IPv6 awareness

The Internet Society has launched Deploy360, a programme that aims to "provide real-world deployment information initially for IPv6 and DNSSEC and, over time, for additional Internet technologies."

ICANN gears up to offer huge range of new top level domains

The Internet Corportion for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is meeting in Sydney in late June and progressing its plan to allow almost any string of letters to be used for a global top level domain (gTLD), like .org or .net, will be high on its agenda.
 

.org made secure with DNSSEC

Domain Name Security Extensions (DNSSEC) have been applied to the .org top level domain making it the largest domain registry to implement the security measure.
