We are all concerned about just how much privacy we still have on the Internet.  Data Privacy Day is intended to be a framework for dialog about the issues.

Verizon, Motorola take on iPhone with iDon't ads

In television ads and on the Web, Verizon is positioning its new Droid smartphone to take on the iPhone directly. The ads start with an "iDon't" list of what the iPhone can't do, followed by a list of what the Droid can.
 

AT&T on the ball with rugby comms centre

AT&T is providing data communications services for a state-of-the art communications centre built in the shape of a giant rugby ball next to a Tokyo stadium which will stage a rugby match between the New Zealand All Blacks and Australia at the end of October.
 

Congressional support for AT&T complaint against Google Voice

Twenty members of the U.S. Congress, both Republicans and Democrats, have asked the Federal Communications Commission to look into Google's blockage of Google Voice calls to certain exchanges. The request is in support of a complaint sent to the FCC a couple of weeks ago by AT&T.

Apple has rejected the Google Voice iPhone application for publication via the AppStore.  The FCC wants to know why.
