Love That Place’s Web 2.0 technology brings social networking to the online real estate experience

The Beta version of Australian property website Love That Place went live this week, offering a new way for people to talk about their properties, or properties that they love.  It could even lead to a potential property sale – either privately or through a local agent.  The website puts everyday homeowners in control of selling or buying their home by allowing them to upload properties that aren’t currently listed for sale with a real estate agent, presenting an online market potentially 30 times bigger..

Unlike current real estate websites, which take sales listings from real estate agents, Love That Place enables property owners and admirers to upload their own content to search, showcase, rate, discuss and register interest in property that is ‘not yet for sale’. The website utilises the latest technologies of web 2.0 to keep all parties instantly and completely connected. Website members are able to harness the power of messaging, personal web pages and more to enhance their user experience -- whether business related or personal.
