Mobile operators get fixed price spectrum renewal in $3b Government windfall

The Government has offered Australia's three mobile operators, and vividwireless, renewal of their existing spectrum allocated on 15 year licences in the late 90s and early 2000s at set prices, while the Government expects to rake in $3 billion.

Interactive Association of Australia (IEAA) Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

The Interactive Entertainment Association of Australia (IEAA) which represents Australian companies in the computer and video game industry has announced the appointment of Ron Curry to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Curry is charged with supporting IEAA members to drive commercial, legislative and public relations activities, while developing an Association that actively serves the needs of its members.

The IEAA is a national industry association proactively representing companies in the interactive entertainment industry. Our members develop and market computer and video games software, hardware and accessories in Australia.  IEAA is administered by a Board of Directors comprising senior executives from entertainment companies both large and small.
