Introducing Optus ipPhone Premier for small business

- sponsored editorial -

If you’ve ever heard of VoIP calls, you would have heard about the potential savings. But when it comes to your business, you have other concerns too. Things like reliability, convenience, quality and security.

With the new Optus ipPhone Premier1 , it’s win-win. You enjoy the same call quality and convenience as your current fixed line2 . You get remarkable value for money. And you get a range of call features normally only available to big business.

The quality your business needs.

Optus ipPhone Premier is our premium, business grade VoIP service. You can use it just like you use your current fixed line – just pick up and dial. Your calls are routed through the Optus network, so they’re completely secure. And the voice quality is excellent.

Big business features for your business.

Because Optus ipPhone Premier uses the internet, it also includes simple to use call features that could enhance the way you work. Things like:

Call routing: Lets you forward calls from your customers to other phones, including your mobile.

Line hunt: A combined hunting/multi-ringing feature so calls follow you from phone to phone.

Call logs: Allows you to monitor your incoming and outgoing calls.

Click2Call: Dial numbers directly from the address book on your computer or online via your browser.

Value other telcos don’t want you to see.

Convenience, quality and a range of features: normally you would expect to pay a premium for a service like this. But the good news is, local and national calls are just 12¢3. That’s a flat rate – untimed. You’ll also get free calls to other Optus ipPhone services4.  And for just $19.95 per line, per month (minimum 2 lines), plus set up costs5. Compare that to
what you’re paying now and you can see why other telcos wouldn’t want you to know about it.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. To be eligible to connect an Optus ipPhone Premier service, you must be and remain connected to a Business DSL Direct service from Optus and acquire the required equipment from Optus. Optus ipPhone Premier is available in Metropolitan and many regional areas of NSW, VIC, ACT, QLD, SA and WA.
It is not available in Tasmania and Northern Territory. For technical and commercial reasons, not all businesses can be connected to Optus ipPhone Premier. 2. One Business DSL Direct service will support the use of a maximum of 6 simultaneous ipPhone Premier services. The number of services supported may be restricted in some areas due to your line condition or your distance from the telephone exchange. Attempting to make more simultaneous ipPhone Premier calls over a single Business DSL
Direct service than the number of ipPhone Premier services you have connected could degrade the quality of all those simultaneous calls. In the event of a power failure,  you will not be able to use your Optus ipPhone Premier service to make or receive phone calls, including, for example, to emergency services. It is recommended that you purchase an uninterruptible power supply (battery backup) if you intend to rely on your Optus ipPhone Premier service to make emergency phone calls. TTY services cannot be used with the Optus ipPhone Premier service. 3. Local call rates apply to standard local calls only. Some services e.g. ISDN are not classified as standard local calls. 4. Your regular broadband charges apply. 5. Optus will install the required equipment and will charge you an installation fee. Additional charges may apply for  a non-standard installation. The minimum total cost for the ipPhone Premier plan with the Business DSL Direct Starter plan (at $39.95 per month + connection fee), is: (a) $1335.20 over 12 months, including monthly access fees for the ipPhone and DSL services, equipment, installation and DSL connection charges and excluding call costs; or (b) $2194.40 over 24 months including monthly access fees for the ipPhone and DSL services, equipment, installation and DSL connection charges and excluding call costs. Cost may vary depending on the Business DSL Direct plan you select and the number of ipPhone Premier and DSL services you connect.
