Beginning from the International Space Station’s Quest airlock, the construction activities of the two Expedition 14 spacewalking astronauts can be seen live on NASA TV.

The ISS astronauts are helping to speed up construction of the space station, which in the past had been reserved for Space Shuttle astronauts. NASA administrator Mike Griffin recently reported on the critical part that the space station plays in NASA’s Vision for Space Exploration: "NASA is moving forward with a new focus for the manned space program: to go out beyond Earth orbit for purposes of human exploration and scientific discovery. And the International Space Station is now a stepping stone on the way, rather than being the end of the line."
