NASA astronaut Don Pettit, Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, and Dutch astronaut Andre Kuopers have landed back on Earth after half a year in space.

The threesome landed on the southern Central Asian steppes of Kazakhstan at 4:14 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), or 0414 Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), on Sunday, July 1, 2012.

Their landing site was close to a remote area near the town of Zhezkazgan, Kazakhstan.

The orbital-earth travelers were in space for 193 days, during their stay at the International Space Station (ISS).

The Russian Soyuz spacecraft and crew, making a successful flight back to Earth, can be seen on the YouTube video "Soyuz Landing", as seen above.
