The latest release of Google's Chrome browser delivers tab syncing and a stack of security fixes.

The tab synchronisation feature that appeared last month in Chrome's beta channel has now reached the stable release. Providing the user is signed into Chrome, the current tab set (along with its history) is available on all other instances of the browser that are signed into the same account.

Tab syncing is in addition to the synchronisation of bookmarks, apps, extensions and other elements that was already offered by Chrome.

Chrome 19 also delivers fixes for 18 security vulnerabilities. Seven were regarded as high impact, six medium, and five low. Rewards totalling $5500 were paid to people reporting some of the issues.

Most users receive Chrome updates automatically.
