Virgin Galactic just announced that for $200,000 you can reserve a suborbital trip into space on its SpaceShipTwo. However, a little known company is offering similar trips for less than half that amount.

So far, almost 450 people have signed up for the trip into space with Virgin Galactic. And, you only have to put down a deposit of $20,000.

These flights, however, will not begin for another two years. So far, customers booking flights have come from 47 countries.

To reserve your seat on the next-available suborbital flight into space, go to Virgin Galactic's webpage: 'Bookings'.

You can book directly through Virgin Galactic, or through one of their representatives, as it mentions on the above website, in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Asia, and Oceania.

However, you can cut that price in half by going with another company, one that you may not have heard of so far.

Space Expedition Curacao is offering suborbital flights for $95,000.
