NASA launches The NASA Universe on SlideShare.net

The U.S. space agency NASA announced that it has launched its own network on SlideShare.net called 'The NASA Universe'. NASA says: "What a treasure trove of information for researchers, students, and the general public!"

The new federal network, called 'The NASA Universe', is a compilation of slideshows from NASA channels at its various centers and facilities around the United States.

These National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) centers and facilities include the Johnson Space Center (Texas), the Kennedy Space Center (Florida), the Marshall Space Flight Center (Alabama), the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (California), the Goddard Space Flight Center (Maryland), and the Glenn Research Center (Ohio).

These NASA centers and facilities also include the Dryden Flight Research Center (California), the Langley Research Center (Virginia), the Stennis Space Center (Mississippi), and the Ames Research Center (California).

NASA states on the website that the new network is ''¦ a treasure trove of information for researchers, students and the general public!"
