Construction needs cloud flexibility

Australia’s embattled construction sector could benefit from cloud based information systems that can be switched on and off in lockstep with individual projects – with the exception of those organisations based in remote areas like the Kimberleys.

See planet Mercury at your local sunset

Science - Space

The innermost planet of our solar system, Mercury, is now in a perfect place to see in the twilight of the evening. See it easily in your local night sky during the middle of March 2011.

Beginning on March 14 and extending for several more days, the planet Mercury will be visible in the western night sky, with its best appearance just about 40 minutes after sunset.

On the evening of March 15, you'll see a bright star-like point in the western sky: that's the planet Jupiter. Right above Jupiter and to its right will be a dimmer looking point, the planet Mercury!

The two planets are the brightest objects in the night sky, so they should be pretty obvious to the naked eye.

As the nights go forward you'll see the two planets separate slightly. Over these nights, Jupiter and Mercury will be about 5 degrees apart.

Astronomers are predicting that March 17 and 18, 2011, will be the best times to see Mercury, when it is highest in the night sky and well above Jupiter.
