During the eclipse, the C/2009 R1 comet will be seen during the day in the following locations: Mangaia (Cook Islands) and Easter Island (Isla de Pascua) in the South Pacific, along with southern Chile and Argentina in South America.

Remember not to look at the Sun without protective eye equipment. A solar eclipse can be harmful to the eyes, so NEVER look directly at the Sun without such protection.
