NASA is inviting the public to send questions via Twitter to the Expedition crew members and the STS-130 astronauts on board the International Space Station. They will be answered live on NASA TV.
Questions by the Twitterers will be answered while the STS-130 astronauts are visiting the Space Station on their mission to bring the Tranquility module and a seven-window Cupola to the International Space Station (ISS).
When the public sends questions to the astronauts on board the International Space Station (ISS), the astronauts will answer them live from space.
U.S. astronaut
Michael “Mike” J. Massimino will be accepting questions from the public through his
Twitter account.
You can send questions from Thursday, February 4, to Thursday, February 11, 2010.
Massimino will be acting as the capsule communicator (CAPCOM), one of the flight controllers for the
STS-130 mission at NASA’s Mission Control Center (MCC).
The MCC is part of the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC), just outside of Houston, Texas, in the community of Clear Lake City, Texas.
Page two contains specific information on how to Twitter Massimino during the STS-130 mission.
