“Venerable Hubble Keeps Opening New Doors on the Universe” — The Hubble Space Telescope is refurbished once again by NASA astronauts (in September) and produces new, stunning pictures of our Universe. What will Hubble tell is over the next five years?

“Experimental Rocket Offers Options for Future Space Vehicles” — The new NASA rocket, the Ares I-X, lifts off on October 28 for its first flight in a series of tests, with the hope of providing safe and reliable launch support to the new manned NASA Constellation project. Will Ares get off the ground, or will NASA take another direction is launching cargo and humans into space?
