The contest is part of NASA’s
Centennial Challenges program.
CAFE is a non-profit organization based on learning more about personal aircraft technologies.
Its mission statement states:
“CAFE Foundation creates and advances the understanding of personal aircraft technologies through research, analysis, and education.”
