According to
Weather.com, the forecast for the Cape Canaveral area is for “Variable clouds with showers and scattered thunderstorms…. Chance of rain 60%.”
NASA Flight Director Norm Knight and his entry team will continue to evaluate weather conditions at KSC before permitting the space shuttle to land there.
If the weather is not acceptable in Florida, the NASA team will look to land at the secondary landing site, Edwards Air Force Base in California.
The weather at Edwards AF Base is very much more desirable on Sunday, with a forcast of "Mainly sunny."
White Sands Space Harbor, another backup landing iste, is not expected to be activated for a possible Sunday landing.

In further news about NASA, the White House announced on Saturday, May 23, 2009, that President Barack Obama will select Charles F. Bolden, Jr., age 62 years, as the next NASA Administrator, replacing Michael Griffin, who stepped down from the post in January 2009.
