The Government has offered Australia's three mobile operators, and vividwireless, renewal of their existing spectrum allocated on 15 year licences in the late 90s and early 2000s at set prices, while the Government expects to rake in $3 billion.
As with any organization, they need to keep themselves in the limelight and this is one very good way to do it.
I’d rate it a “Go” and a "Thumb's Up" to hear Suni Williams say to host Stephen Colbert that the new name of Node 3 on the International Space Station is “Colbert.” But, you'll need to watch the TV show to see for yourself what it will be named.
May The Colbert Nation live long and prosper!
For those of you unfamiliar with Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report," it is a satirical television program originating in the United States in which political humorist Stephen Colbert satirizes almost anything of interest to the public, especially politics.
The show is a spin-off of The Daily Show, hosted by Jon Stewart.
According to the September 25, 2005 New York Times article "Funny about the news," Stephen Colbert describes his character on the show as: "The character will not change. He's the exact same guy from "The Daily Show,"
and he has just been promoted into the host's chair. We're trying to establish a
persona here. He's a well-intentioned, poorly informed, high-status idiot."
