McCloud is quite the quilter, too. She has stitched such quilts showing a log cabin, Van Gough’s painting “Starry Night,” and a "Batik kaleidoscope" design.

According to the February 28, 2009 ‘Jack of all trades’ tackles outer space article, also by Hyatt, “Her house — which she and her husband, Daniel McCloud, designed and built themselves — overflows with art and quilting supplies such as various sewing and quilting machines, sergers, computers, and other accouterments of the artist/quilter’s trade.”
