As stated earlier, IYA is a global celebration of astronomy throughout the year 2009.
Organizations such as the Centro de AstrofÃsica da Universidade do Porto (CAUP) and the European Organisation for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere (ESO) also have websites for the event.
