With over 300 scientific works to his credit and over 150 non-scientific works, too, Albert Einstein has been called one of the most influential people ever in human history--a genius if ever the word should be applied to any one human being.
In 1999
Time magazine named him the "Person of the Century." And, he did a lot of his work (his "thought experiments") while an assistant examiner in a patient office in Berne, Germany.
