In addition, pursue space activities that relate to science and engineering already being performed in Australia. Relate these projects to the needs of the Australian people so there is benefit to them and future generations.
Ask your experts in industry, education, research, and other such areas for their opinions. Ask your citizens about their opinions of space projects, space exploration, and other such pursuits.
Keep an open mind and consider all suggestions.
And, lastly, steadily and adequately fund a national space program and consider it just as important as the federal government’s programs in education, defense, health, and other basic services to its people.
Do it right the first time.
Make it a federal program that is not political, but instead is scientific and technological--being funded based on the benefits to its citizens and their future needs and livelihoods and not on the whims of politicians.
