A private equity fund recently agreed to a $US20 million investment in SpaceX. "Combined with our existing cash reserves, that ensures we will have more than sufficient funding on hand to continue launching Falcon 1 and develop Falcon 9 and Dragon," said Musk.A significant feature of the Falcon rockets is that all stages are designed to be reusable.
