Be conscientious, and live longer!

Science - Health

Kern and Friedman found the group of people to live the second longest within the larger conscientious group are those that are orderly in their actions and activities.

So, you better clean up your closet, and put all of your clothes and shoes in orderly rows.

Make a list, cross out everything you accomplish every day, and add more to the end of it as you think of new things to do. Now, you're on your way to a longer life.

The group of conscientious people that live the third longest is those people who are responsible and reliable in their lives.

Kern states, “These are people who are often seen as respectable members of the community, who contribute time and energy to society, cooperate with colleagues and neighbours, and are trustworkthy.” [New Scientist]

So, get out there and be conscientious, orderly, and responsible so you can life longer, too.

If nothing else, it’s the nice thing to do.
