CDC study finds men and women eat differently

Science - Health

However, men also liked to eat asparagus and brussel sprouts.

Now, that is really surprising!

Women are more likely to eat fruits and vegetables (especially strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, carrots, blueberries, alfalfa sprouts, and apples); nuts (such as almonds and walnuts); and eggs and yogurt.

Men liked frozen hamburger, while women preferred fresh hamburger.

In addition, men liked undercooked hamburgers and eggs, while women liked their hamburgers and eggs cooked more throroughly.

This result was especially noted by the researchers because it is known that the eating of undercooked foods can be risky to human health.

The researchers hope to learn more about the differences between men and women with respect to their eating habits in order to prevent health and safety problems in the future.
