Study shows correlation between big men and small erections

Science - Health

Obesity in men and women is a growing trend in developed countries around the world.

Erectile dysfunction, in the United States, affects over 50% of all American males between the ages of 40 to 70 years of age.

Of these men, almost 80% are overweight.

In Australia, several studies have shown that 20% of men (one in five) over the age of 40 years experience frequent erectile dysfunction problems.

These studies have shown that 10% of Australian men (one in ten men) are unable to have erections.

Recent medical studies in Australia have shown that over 60% of adult men are either overweight or obese.

The March 7, 2008 news article "Sexual performance may hold key to men's health" by Dr. Wittert appears on The University of Adelaide website.
