In a parallel story, Fleet News also surveyed the top fifty fleet management companies in the United Kingdom.

The magazine revealed its rankings of the most reliable light commercial vehicles from a stock of about 183,000 vans.

The Ford Transit was named the most reliable van by Fleet News. The top five positions are:

1.    Ford Transit
2.    Vauxhall Astravan
3.    Ford Connect
4.    Benz Sprinter
5.    Volkswagen Transporter

And, according to the survey, the most reliable van manufacturer is Ford. The top five most reliable van manufacturers are:

1.    Ford
2.    Mercedes-Benz
3.    Volkswagen
4.    Vauxhall
5.    Peugeot
