The Gravitational force (gravity), which is not explained within the Standard Model, is guided by gravitons and explained by Albert Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity.
The Electromagnetic force involves photons, and is explained by Quantum Electrodynamics (QED), within the Standard Model.
The Strong (nuclear) force involves the elementary particle called the gluon. It is explained by Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD), within the Standard Model.
And, the Weak (nuclear) force is explained by Electroweak Theory, whose elementary particles is the W and Z bosons (intermediate vector bosons), all within the Standard Model.
Joe Dehmer, director of the Physics Division at the National Science Foundation, states,
“A cornerstone of NSF's support of particle physics is the search for the origin of mass, and this result takes us one step closer.”
The Tevatron collider at Fermilab produces approximately ten million collisions per second. It is a competitor of CERN’s LHC, or the Large Hadron Collider, which has been in the news lately for its supposed ability to make mini-black holes and its more accurate ability to possibly find
The God Particle.

Physicists get closer to finding the 'God Particle'.”
