Although their settlement of the border will be peaceful, experts are not so certain other areas will have such amicable agreements.

Some of these areas include the Patagonia (a region of southernmost South America that emcompasses the Andes Mountain) within Chile and Argentina;  the Arctic (the region around the Earth's North Pole) claimed by the United States, Canada and Russia; and Kashmir (the region of the northern part of the Indian subcontinent) of India and Pakistan,

For instance, strained relations between India and Pakistan will probably escalate in the future with respect to the Kashmir glaciers.

Specifically, international relations expert James R. Lee (American University, Washington D.C., U.S.A.), who studies the relationship of climate and geography, states, “I think it's a very good bet that the Kashmir glaciers will get caught up in the India/Pakistan dispute."
