Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
Some scientists think that other natural processes may have been present at this early stage in Earth’s history—and, thus, explain the presence of the diamonds and carbon-12.
Chemical reactions involving carbon oxides and materials originating from outer space (such as in meteorites) are just two of many possibilities that might explain the appearance of these diamonds and carbon-12 at such an early time in Earth’s past.
Even human-made contamination from the study itself may be a possibility, as pointed out by some scientists.
Many scientists have conjectured that early in Earth’s history it would have been impossible for life to exist due to the extreme inhospitable conditions on Earth.
However, this study may prove these scientists wrong. The Earth may have been cooler and wetter than previously thought at this very early stage in its evolution.
It is too soon to know for sure. But, scientists are working on an answer!
