Construction needs cloud flexibility

Australia’s embattled construction sector could benefit from cloud based information systems that can be switched on and off in lockstep with individual projects – with the exception of those organisations based in remote areas like the Kimberleys.

Length of fingers tied to penis length

Science - Biology

A South Korean study has shown a relationship between the length of a man's penis and the ratio of the length of the index finger and the ring finger. Now, that must have been an interesting study to do!

The results of the study were published online on July 4, 2011, in the Asian Journal of Andrology under the title 'Second to Fourth Digit Ratio: A Predictor of Adult Penile Length.'

The researchers involved in the study are: In Ho Choi, Khae Hawn Kim, Han Jung, Sang JinYoon, and Tae Beom Kim, of Gachon University Gil Hospital (Incheon, South Korea), and Soo Woong Kim, of Seoul National University College of Medicine (Seoul, South Korea).

They studied Korean men who had been hospitalized for urological surgery at an academic medical center. In all, 144 men, from 20 years of age or older, had their fingers and penises measured.

One researcher measured the second finger (index finger) and fourth finger (ring finger) on the right hand.

Their paper stated, 'Under anaesthesia, flaccid and stretched penile lengths were measured by another investigator who did not measure nor have any the information regarding the digit lengths.'

The South Korean researchers found that men who had a lower ratio (that is, a shorter length of the index finger compared to the ring finger) were more likely have a longer length of the penis.

And, those with a longer length (higher ratio) of the index finger when compared to the ring finger were more likely to have a shorter length of their penis.

(Yes, men, I know, you are looking at your fingers right now! I did the same thing!)
