Overnight Bloomberg broke the news that Apple had secured an injunction against Samsung prohibiting the sale of the forthcoming Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia.
At the time Samsung refused to comment on the news, and Australians were facing the increasingly likely prospects of seeing the local launch of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 pushed back.
However according to a statement made this afternoon by Samsung, it did not plan on ever making the model of the Galaxy 10.1 tablet targeted by Apple's lawsuit available for sale in Australia.
'No injunction was issued by the court and the parties in the case reached a mutual agreement which stipulates that the variant in question will not be sold in Australia,' Samsung said in the statement.
'A Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 for the Australian market will be released in the near future.'
