Kogan is a Melbourne based company that sells solely on the internet and loves to pick fights with Gerry Harvey.
Kogan recently updated their netbook range with the new Agora range of tablets, chrome netbooks and a TV portal that are both feature rich and have a good price.
The Agora Internet TV Portal is simply an Android 2.2 (Eclair) device . In fact the only difference between the Agora and the HTC Desire is a lack of a phone (that is, screen/touchscreen).
Everything that Android offers is on here. Access to the App Market, inbuilt email, gmail, Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, browser and more. It allows bluetooth, so you can add a Bluetooth keyboard (a good idea).
It has both Ethernet and WiFi, so the internet is catered for (no 3G, but in this situation, you would more likely have the 3G connection via your router anyway).
Setup is exactly like a vanila Android install. Mate your device to your Google account, input your email and gmail settings, and off you go.
Think again. Most businesses only have PART of a DR plan - and this spells business disaster in the event of an IT disaster.
