Australia’s embattled construction sector could benefit from cloud based information systems that can be switched on and off in lockstep with individual projects – with the exception of those organisations based in remote areas like the Kimberleys.
Sydney, 15 November, 2006 – PayGlobal, a fast growing HR and payroll software company, today announced the opening of its new Melbourne office on the back of growing demand for its professional services in both the public and private sectors.
PayGlobal, which provides organisations with a range of Human Resource Management Information Systems (HRMIS), including fully integrated payroll, rostering, time and attendance, human resources, HR self-service and web recruiting software, first opened an office in Australia in 1999.
“The new Melbourne office will enable PayGlobal to not only continue to consolidate our position as a leading provider of payroll services in Australia but is also well timed to meet increasing demand from Victorian-based organisations,” said Melissa Clark-Reynolds, Chief Executive Officer at PayGlobal.
Clark-Reynolds, who was appointed PayGlobal CEO earlier this year, says Australia continues to drive the company’s growth strategy in the region.
The company employs 40 people in Australia, has an established office in Sydney and sells through both a direct and partner go-to-market strategy.
“Melbourne is integral to our Australian operations, with local organisations of all sizes identifying the effectiveness of integrated HRMIS solutions in streamlining overall payroll processing requirements.
“Having made headway in a number of specialised industries, including healthcare in Victoria, we are now looking to build on that success and expand into other market sectors that rely on overly complex, labour intensive pay-awards.
Organisations such as these will gain maximum value from running all their people management processes with a single solution,” said Clark-Reynolds.
By January 2007, PayGlobal expects to have over 15 Melbourne-based staff to complement its existing Sydney headquarters and has recently appointed Jim Aivaliotis, Professional Services Manager, to head up the new office.
Aivaliotis joined the company from employer service giant, ADP, where he was General Manager for client support services across the Asia Pacific region.
He has 12 years’ experience in human resource management.
PayGlobal’s Victoria-based clients include the Hume Alliance of Rural Hospitals, Western District Health, Barwon Health, Healthscope, Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre, and Goulburn Valley Water.
The new offices are located at Suite 9 and10 at 75-79 Chetwynd Street, North Melbourne.
