With continued commitment to research and development investment, the release of Objective 7.4 builds on the widely deployed 7.x stream of releases.
Platform Support – Windows 7 ready
Released in the same week as Microsoft’s Windows 7 Operating System, Objective 7.4 provides compatibility with Microsoft's latest Operating system offerings, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Objective 7.4 contains both enhancements to existing functionality, significant new functionality and platform upgrade support.
Major functionality additions in Objective 7.4 include:
CaseFlow
Automating business processes has always been a cornerstone of the success of Objective's Workflow capability, yet complex case-based applications require more than simply automating existing processes. They require a recognition that each individual case is unique and that case officers, not automated workflows, drive successful outcomes.
CaseFlow provides enhancements to Objective Workflow along with improvements to our support for cases in order to better enable empowered case supervisors and officers to do their jobs effectively.

The phenomenal growth in the use, and usefulness, of the web over the last 20 years has taught us many things about effective dissemination and re-use of information for increasing collective knowledge and enabling the use of information in ways unimagined by the original author. Similarly, it's clear that organisations can learn from these proven technologies and techniques to provision internal information from line of business systems in order to ensure similar growth in the collective knowledge of the organisation and its community.
WebSpace builds on Objective's focus on open standards based technologies and interfaces to enable the hosting of simple AJAX-style web applications utilising information directly from the Objective repository (documents, versions, renditions, metadata, searches etc) according to the widely adopted principles and standards of Web Oriented Architectures (WOA) - REST, POX, HTTP(S) and JSON.
