Objective Corporation (ASX: OCL) today announced Queensland Police Service (QPS) has expanded its use of the Objective solution to over 2000 staff across the state. The contract for the additional licenses was awarded under the Queensland Whole of Government procurement arrangement.
QPS has been an Objective customer since 2001 and has used the solution primarily for administrative and records management in specific areas. This project will see Objective used in all police locations throughout Queensland to support records management practices.
Objective Corporation brings expertise and knowledge from working on a similar project with WA Police.
In 2007, Objective’s leading edge search capabilities and police cooperation across the country helped West Australian and Tasmanian Police find evidence needed to charge a suspect for a string of serious and previously unsolved crimes after a similar legacy migration in WA.
Objective has the capacity to provide easy-to-use, seamless access to any record regardless of content, format, location or source across all levels of QPS from administrative staff through to police on the beat.
Mr Tony Walls, CEO, Objective Corporation said: “QPS is a long-term valued customer of Objective and we are pleased to be able to continue working with them. The strength and vision behind our software has grown parallel to our relationship with QPS and this gives us greater capability to support their business needs and help them supply even higher levels of service excellence to the people of Queensland.”
