Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
Adding to its award-winning line up of colour printers for A4 formats, Kyocera Mita, one of the world's leading document solutions companies, today introduced the FS-C5400DN colour printer and the FS-C1020MFP colour multifunctional printer (MFP).
The new models join Kyocera’s existing range of colour printers, which have recently been recognised for their reliability and image quality in a series of awards, including a PC Advisor Gold Award for the Kyocera FS-C5100DN colour laser printer[1] . The Kyocera FS-C5200DN and Kyocera FS-C5300DN were also awarded the Better Buys for Business[2] 2009 Editor’s Choice Award, and the Kyocera FS-C5300DN was again recognised with a Bertl’s Best Award for Best Digital Imaging Desktop Colour A4 Printer[3] .
With the addition of the FS-C5400DN to its successful FS-C5300DN series, Kyocera has bolstered its colour printer offering by delivering one of the most compact printers in the top-speed segment to date. The Kyocera FS-C5400DN is designed for high print volumes, and with its long-life amorphous silicon drum (300,000 pages), is an exceptionally economical device.
In order to fulfill even the highest user-demands, the device can be equipped with a total of six paper trays for flexible paper handling and a paper volume of up to 2,650 sheets. It also features a large control panel display to ensure important information is available at a glance, along with easy set-up and configuration.
With an output capacity of up to 500 sheets, the FS-C5400DN can print up to 35 A4 pages per minute in colour and monochrome, deliver up to 9,600 x 600dpi print quality with multi-bit technology and produce double-sided printing via the standard duplex unit. Boasting an F.A Porsche design, the device includes network connectivity with integrated security functions and has Power PC 750/733 MHz, 256MB RAM and optional hard disk.
Kyocera has also unveiled the Kyocera FS-C1020MFP, an economical colour MFP for A4 formats. Designed to meet a wide range of business needs, the FS-C1020MFP easily integrates into an existing network and is compact enough to be the ideal desktop printer. With a printing speed of up to 20 pages per minute in colour or monochrome, and a time to first print of just 14 seconds, it can easily handle the daily document workload of any office.
As a highly efficient network device, the FS-C1020MFP provides quick and easy access to all print, copy, scan and fax functions with a user-friendly control panel. Well-suited as either a personal all-rounder or a strong team player, the device has the speed and output quality to handle all day-to-day document processing needs with precision.
A one-stop electronic data system, the FS-C1020MFP enables users to process and archive even paper documents electronically. The high colour scan resolution provides all the detail and accuracy that businesses demand, and scans can be sent directly to any PC or server, or can be attached directly to an email, either as a PDF, JPG or a TIFF file.
The MFP’s fax function uses the Super G3 mode for faster transmission, sending out an A4 document in under four seconds. It stores up to 20 one-touch quick dial entries and broadcasting for up to 100 transmissions with one document. Its paper feeder increases paper capacity to up to 751 sheets and the standard duplex unit can help to lower paper costs through cost-saving double-sided printing.
“Kyocera has been recognised the world over for setting the standard in high volume, high speed colour printing and continues to deliver exceptional quality and impressive value with the introduction of two new colour devices,” said David Finn, Managing Director for Kyocera Mita Australia and New Zealand.
“Businesses today are challenged by the need to increase efficiency, reduce costs and minimise their impact on the environment, and Kyocera is delivering the printing solutions that can help them work smarter while also saving money and saving the planet.”
The FS-C5400DN colour printer (RRP $3,298.90 incl. GST) and the FS-C1020MFP colour multifunctional (RRP $1,538.90 incl. GST) are now available through Kyocera’s national network of distributors and dealers. For further information, please visit www.kyoceramita.com.au.
