HEDLOCâ„¢ Lands Google Earth Enterprise Agreement with Google.

New contract establishes HEDLOC as the key Google Earth Enterprise geospatial partner to Google in Australia.  Sydney, AUSTRALIA (September 19, 2007) – Today, HEDLOC announced an agreement with Google Inc. that entitles HEDLOC to sell the Google Earth Enterprise software solution to businesses and government customers directly in the Australian market. The agreement will allow HEDLOC to work with Google to introduce the Google Earth Enterprise offering to the Asia Pacific market.

Through this arrangement, the Google Earth Enterprise product will be able to be purchased by organisations in Australia and neighbouring Asia Pacific countries through HEDLOC, with enterprise level local support, training and deployment services.

Commercial and government organisations will welcome the presence of a local organisation that can provide the Google Earth Enterprise software and engineering expertise to successfully rollout an internal geospatial desktop visualisation solution.

“Businesses and government customers in Australia will now be able to harness the power of Google Earth Enterprise inside their organisation. Enabling valuable geospatial information to be unlocked and explored by the general knowledge worker,” said Bruno Pisano, Managing Director for HEDLOC.
With Google Earth's intuitive 3D geo-browsing experience, the opportunity is to visualize data more effectively, allowing internal and external customers to explore areas of interest more efficiently than ever. In addition, the solution enables layering of valuable complimentary terrain, imagery and vector point information.

In an extension to their already thriving Google Enterprise Search business, HEDLOC is seeing very strong demand for Web 2.0 applications, social networking and mash-ups. The addition of Google Earth means taking the neologism of “crowdsourcing” is possible within the bounds of an organisation. Bruno Pisano comments, “A Google Enterprise Search and Enterprise Earth deployment within a business or government organisation brings the „what'Ÿ and „where'Ÿ together via a geo-referenced search. The potential for making information accessible within the context of location opens up the possibilities of location based services to customers.”

Today’s announcement comes at a time when HEDLOC is experiencing tremendous growth.
