Sydney, NSW. 8th September 2005 – IT Employers gained a new source of helpful HR content today with the launch of www.ITemployer.com.au. Pitched as a free portal, the website provides a wide range of tips and advice specifically for employers of IT professionals who want to learn more about effective ways to recruit and retain top performers in a tight labour market.

 

The website offers a wide collection of Australian-produced articles on topics ranging from effective staff orientation through to successful succession planning.  Developed as the result of an informal collaboration by four companies; each specialists in the HR and/or recruitment industries, the Group’s aim is to support Australian employers of IT professionals by providing best practice recruitment advice. Spokesperson for the group, John McVicker of Best International said, “The themes of attracting and retaining good quality IT talent are areas that our all of our clients ask us for help and advice on frequently.
