Wilkes-Barre, PA – April 16, 2008 - Wilkes-Barre, PA – April 16, 2008 - Saturday, May 10th, TECHbash 2008, NEPA’s premier technology conference sponsored by.NET Valley, will kick off at 7:30am at Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke, PA.


WHAT IS TECHBASH
Today’s Technology Professionals face enormous pressure to cut costs and increase productivity in a rapidly evolving landscape of ever changing technology solutions. TECHbash brings together Developers, Systems Administrators, Technology Decision Makers and Industry Experts from leading technology firms, including Microsoft, to share knowledge in a relaxed, social environment.

This year TECHbash will feature three focused tracks; IT Professional, Developer and Emerging Technology. Each track will feature four sessions covering a broad array of subjects within the focus areas. ABOUT .NET VALLEY
.NET Valley is the only community supported technology user group in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Our mission is to create an environment that fosters ongoing conversations and knowledge sharing among technology professionals in NEPA, Southern NY and Lehigh Valley.

.NET Valley debuted at the Wilkes-Barre F.U.N.N. yearly event on April 22nd, 2003. The first regular monthly meeting of the .NET Valley was held on May 27th. Our user group has members in Carbon, Columbia, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Schuylkill, Wayne, and Wyoming counties in Pennsylvania. .NET Valley usually meets the third Wednesday of each month alternating meeting locations between the Wilkes-Barre and Scranton areas. In addition to membership in INETA and Culminus this diverse group includes industry experts such as Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals and a former Microsoft TechNet presenter.
