Altis Consulting, an Australian owned consultancy offering specialist expertise in data warehousing, business intelligence and information management, has announced the appointment of Louise Featherstone as Regional Manager based in Wellington. In her role, Featherstone will be responsible for driving sales, developing local partnerships and providing management of Altis Consulting’s business in the capital. Featherstone joins Altis Consulting with over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry and was formerly with Oracle New Zealand where she held a variety of roles over a 14 year period, most recently as Consulting Sales Manager and previously as Consulting Practice Manager,
e-Advisor, Applications Practice Manager and Managing Principal Consultant.
Having first joined Oracle New Zealand as one of the founding Applications Consultants in Wellington, Featherstone rapidly attained the role of Managing Principal Consultant progressing from initially implementing Oracle Applications to project management.
In 2001, she was appointed manager of Oracle’s Wellington consulting practice and was instrumental in securing several large data warehousing contracts, including New Zealand Post and Public Trust.
The latter part of her career with Oracle was focused on the sales and delivery of Oracle ebusiness, PeopleSoft and JD Edwards solutions for organisations including Fonterra, National Bank of New Zealand, Contact Energy, Iron Mountain and Solid Energy. In her last role with Oracle as Consulting Sales Manager she was focused on business development in the communications, media and utility sectors along with financial services, government and health.

Featherstone has also worked in financial accounting positions with the New Zealand Apple & Pear Board, Swiss Bank Corporation, Solomon Corporation and IBM New Zealand.
She has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand.
