Curvature, draft, tangency and solid properties can be quickly and visually rendered in real-time. VX CAD/CAM offers Legacy solid and surface data, either in Parasolid, STEP, IGES or VDA format can be imported and used directly. Models can be output in STL format for rapid prototyping or rapid tooling. Optionally integrated sheet metal, complete mold & die and full multi-axis milling modules help users realize their concepts “from art to part”. Many third-party integrations are also available, linking VX® with solutions like Enovia’s SmarTeam PDM or ANSYS® FEA, for example.
