Sydney April 3, 2007 – Altis Consulting, an Australian-owned consultancy offering specialist expertise for information management including data warehousing, business intelligence and data integration, has launched its second office in New Zealand with the recruitment of eight staff at its new location in Wellington.
The launch demonstrates the strong demand for Altis Consulting’s information management solutions and is a response to the company’s growing footprint in government and corporations in Wellington.
The company’s client portfolio in New Zealand already includes Telecom New Zealand, Department of Labour, Genesis Energy, NZ Police, Metrowater and Vodafone.
Beyond continuing the ongoing growth of the Auckland office, John Smith, Business Development Manager, and Devin Deen, Consulting Services Manager, have spent the last twelve months establishing the Wellington office through client and staff development.
“I am very excited about John and Devin’s success in New Zealand especially the rapport we have built with our customers and the quality of the team we are building. This is a clear reflection of our ability to bring technical innovation in delivering business value and a strong service ethic to our clients,” said John Hoffman, General Manager, Altis Consulting.
“We have attracted some top level consultants into our Wellington team because Altis Consulting provides an innovative environment and a learning culture that challenges and rewards those new to the consulting business as well as the most experienced practitioners. I believe this is what employees are looking for in the workplace these days,” said John Smith, Business Development Manager, Altis Consulting NZ.
“These foundations will help the Wellington team provide business solutions that create success for both our clients and employees and I look forward to my time ahead,” Smith said.
The recent appointments take the company’s New Zealand headcount to 19 in total.
