This time, in a similar vein, uSocial's Leon Hill announced this morning that uSocial "is now capitalizing on the video marketing boom by offering people the ability to boost their presence on the site by placing their videos in front of the eyes of tens of thousands of people."
"Using several of our methods, we can get a totally unknown video in front of the eyes of potentially millions of people which can mean megabucks to anyone who's in business," said Hill. "We can even deliver viewers who are in specific interest groups making the service all the more effective."
Following a link on the uSocial website brings up some interesting 'pearls.' "We can now provide you with genuine and quality YouTube views which are not only all real people watching your videos, but can even be targeted to certain industries or interest groups." Or this: "For an investment of only $127, we'll bring you 5,000 genuine and high-quality YouTube views to a video of your choice. Views are untargeted and come from a general audience."
Reading further, we note that for a mere $20 more, our 5,000 untargeted viewers can magically become targeted into one of eleven categories so broad that any of us would be hard-pressed to be outside of.
So, would all prospective 'pairs of eyes' please line up in front of me; targeted on the left, untargeted on the right. Move along, move along.
Think again. Most businesses only have PART of a DR plan - and this spells business disaster in the event of an IT disaster.
