It's official; we're gonna need a bigger lounge room.
Sharp has unveiled the mother of all LCD televisions at CES in Las Vegas - a prototype 108 inch high definition display.
Obviously this is just a "mine's bigger than yours" competition with other LCD and plasma panel makers. Realistically this television will never hit the retail shelves - at 7 foot 10 inches long many people would have to knock down a wall to get it into their home. Better yet, you could buy five, use one as roof and call it a house. There'd obviously be no door but, if you're surrounded by 172 square feet of high definition goodness, why would you ever leave?
A man can dream, can’t he?
