Opinion and Analysis
Nintendo today announced the availability of yet more classic Sega Mega Drive and NES games to download to your Wii Virtual Console.
From today Wii owners can fire up the shopping channel and relieve the heady 16 bit gaming days on the Sega Mega Drive, with the release of
Comix Zone, Bonanza Bros. and
Gain Ground.
This joins fellow new release from Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)
Gradius.
Gradius, despite easy boss fights, was a fine example of the side scrolling genre that inhabited the 8 bit generation of gaming.
The new games join an ever increasing list of nostalgia available currently, with new (!) games being worked on by slave coders deep in Nintendo dungeons.
Current titles available for the Virtual Console are;
NES Donkey Kong™
