Six new free adventures for dungeon delving online players.

Opinion and Analysis

Atari has announced a free update for Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach with emphasis on adventure rather than grind.

Evil Resurgent is the latest update for the massively multiplayer online (MMO) game based in and around the bustling city of Stormreach, it features six new dungeons for parties to quest into.

Created by developer Turbine Stormreach is a little different from other MMO’s, in that it derives its game play mechanics directly from the paper and pencil source of true role playing, Dungeons and Dragons.  You can even see the twenty sided dice results (d20) on screen whilst battling your way through a instanced quest architecture.

The download is free with the six stories, monsters and dungeons coming from the Eberron campaign.

Details of the six adventures can be found on page 2.
